SOE students who attended the SOEclipse event on Feb. 8 learned all kinds of cool ways to teach students about the eclipse and also received eclipse glasses, a children’s book, and a custom Baylor children’s activity book.

Baylor and Waco were gripped with Eclipse Fever in the lead-up to April 8, the day when Waco would be in the path of totality for this once-in-a-generation event. Weather was iffy, but the skies opened for a fabulous view on the Baylor campus and beyond.

The School of Education hosted a special event to help students teaching in schools prepare for the phenomenon, sharing a booklet of activities and lesson plans. Then those were implemented by juniors and seniors in local schools in the days leading up to the eclipse.
